Regarding the date of the USQE Stage 1 for foreign students in specialty "Medicine"

Taking into account the results of the extraordinary meeting of the State Commission for Technogenic and Ecological Safety and Emergencies, dated 23.10.2020 on the establishment of restrictions in regions with a "red" level of epidemic danger of COVID-19 spread, which in most cities classified as "red" epidemic danger, lifted the restriction of visits by students of higher education institutions, guided by the letter of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 28.10.2020 № 22-04 / 32005 / 2-20 is informing that the USQE Stage 1 for foreign students in specialty "Medicine" will take place on October 29 and 30, 2020.

For students who will not be able to take the USQE Stage 1 for a good reason, including due to the established of quarantine restrictions, the impossibility of timely arrival, the Testing Center will organize additional session of the USQE.

Regarding taking the USQE Stage 1 exam by foreign students of specialty "Medicine"

Taking into account the meeting results of the State Commission for Technogenic and Ecological Safety and Emergencies, dated October 15, 2020, about the revision of the epidemic danger levels of COVID-19 and the establishment of restrictions in regions with "red" epidemic danger, numerous appeals from higher education institutions and students with a request to postpone the Stage 1 of the Unified State Qualification Exam (hereinafter – USQE) for foreign students in specialty "Medicine", guided by the letter of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine from October 19, 2020 № 22-04/31000/2-20 we inform that taking of the USQE Stage 1 exam for foreign students of specialty "Medicine" in October 20-21, 2020 has been postponed.

Information about the date of taking the USQE Stage 1 exam by foreign students of specialty "Medicine" will be determined by the Testing Board additionally and published on the official website and Facebook page.

To this purpose, the Testing Board administration initiated a bilateral meeting with the Eurasian Сentre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Healthcare (the Republic of Kazakhstan). During this meeting they discussed their collaboration aimed at sharing knowledge and researching best practices in performance assessment of medical students and graduates, current practices for the organization of lifelong learning for doctors, certification of healthcare professionals, etc.

Presently, the Testing Board considers the basic provisions to be included in the Memorandum of Collaboration and Strategic Partnership.

During this meeting they discussedtheir collaboration aimed at sharing knowledge and researching best European practices in performance assessment of medical students and graduates, current practices for organization of lifelong learning for doctors, certification of healthcare professionals, etc.

Student and faculty survey about organization of the “Krok” Exams

Dear university management and students!

From September 17, 2020 to October 01, 2020, the Testing Board conducts a survey of student and faculty opinion about organization of the “Krok” Exams.

The purpose of this survey is to detect any problems, associated with the preparation for and participation in the Unified Stale Qualification Exam and Licensing Integrated Exam, and to find possible solutions to these problems.

Participation in the survey is voluntary and anonymous. Its results will be generalized and used to improve the Testing Board’s work.
