What is the Score Recheck Procedure

• If an Examinee disagrees with the obtained test score, he or she has the right to request the Score Recheck Procedure, as provided under the Procedure, Terms, and Timeframe for Development and Administration of the Unified State Qualification Exam and Criteria for Result Assessment, Section III, Paragraph 19, approved by Ministry of Health of Ukraine Decree № 419, dated February 19, 2019 and registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine under № 279/33250 on February 20, 2019 (as amended by Ministry of Health of Ukraine Decree № 900 “On adopting changes to the Procedure, Terms, and Timeframe for Development and Administration of the Unified State Qualification Exam and Criteria for Result Assessment”, dated May 24, 2024 and registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine under № 873/42218 on June 10, 2024).
• The Score Recheck Procedure for higher and pre-higher education Examinees majoring in “22 Healthcare” branch of knowledge is conducted by the Testing Board as provided under Testing Board Directive № 01/03/25, dated July 5, 2023.
• Appeal Requests are reviewed by the Testing Board Score Recheck Committee. The scope of authority and composition of the Score Recheck Committee are established under Testing Board Directive № 01/03/06, dated January 23, 2024.
• The Score Recheck Procedure consists of reviewing the Examinee’s Appeal Request and comparing the Examinee’s Answer Sheet with its processing protocol that is the basis of the exam score calculation.
• For the duration of the quarantine measures, pandemics, epidemics, martial law, or ongoing hostilities, the Score Recheck Procedure is conducted REMOTELY.
• The Testing Board does not conduct the Score Recheck Procedure for the scores obtained by the Examinees in test centers abroad, if the Examinees were taking their Krok Exam or Vocational English Language Proficiency Test there in the form of computer-based testing. In such cases, the Score Recheck Procedure is determined by the test centers, where the Examinees were taking their exams.
• The Testing Board Score Recheck Committee does not accept complaints and requests about the content of the test tasks.
• An Examinee can withdraw his or her Appeal Request before the Testing Board Score Recheck Committee starts reviewing it, in which case the review of the Appeal Request will not be conducted.
• The result of the Score Recheck Procedure is entered into the Record of Proceedings of the Testing Board Score Recheck Committee.

Who can submit an Appeal to request the Score Recheck Procedure

• The Appeal Request must be sent by the Examinee to the Testing Board via a registered letter. The Appeal Request Form can be downloaded here: https://www.testcentr.org.ua/docs/TB/form-of-appeal-letter-mle.doc
• Appeal Requests can be submitted online by emailing them to the Testing Board, if they have been signed using the electronic digital signature or qualified electronic signature. Appeal Requests submitted online without the valid electronic digital signature or qualified electronic signature will be rejected.
• The Testing Board Score Recheck Committee does not accept complaints about violations of the Examinees’ rights during the exam.

Score Recheck Procedure: Step-By-Step Algorithm

Appeal Requests can be submitted within the period of 5 days, starting from the date when the school receives exam results.

To submit your Appeal you need to do the following:

1. Download the Appeal Request Form here: https://www.testcentr.org.ua/docs/TB/form-of-appeal-letter-mle.doc
2. Fill in the Appeal Request Form.
3. Make a photo or a scanned copy of your Appeal Request.
4. Register yourself in advance for the Score Recheck Procedure by filling out the Registration Form at the link below (a unique link will be provided for each Score Recheck Procedure, depending on the exam).  
5. Fill in all the fields of the Registration Form, select the date and time of the Score Recheck Procedure that is convenient for you, and attach the photo or the scanned copy of your Appeal Request to your Registration Form.
6. Send the original of your Appeal Request to the Testing Board’s address: 31 Gertsena St., Kyiv, 04050
7. On the day before your selected date for the Score Recheck Procedure, wait for the Testing Board to send you the instructions for the installation of the app you will need, as well as your login and password. They will be sent to the email address that you specified during the registration.
8. On the day and time selected by you for the Score Recheck Procedure, log into the app by entering your login and password sent to you by the Testing Board to start the Score Recheck Procedure.
