Vocational English Language Proficiency Test
Vocational English Language Proficiency Test (Vocational ELPT) as a test-based component of Unified State Qualification Exam (USQE) is one of the evaluation stages for Master’s students majoring in specialties under “22 Healthcare” branch of knowledge.
Students take their Vocational ELPT simultaneously with taking their Krok 1 Exam, as they both comprise a single stage:
- during the third year of study by students majoring in “Medicine”, “Stomatology”, “Pediatrics”, “Medical Psychology”, and “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy”;
- during the first year of study by Master’s students majoring in “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy”, if they have enrolled in their Master’s program after completing a Bachelor’s program.

The exam uses Multiple Choice Questions that have only one correct answer.
The test consists of 50 questions.

How much time do you have to write your Vocational ELPT?
Minimum passing score
In 2025, the minimum passing score requires 40.0 % correct answers, as decided by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Decree № 1898, dated November 2, 2023, amended by Decree № 1807, dated October 25, 2024).
