In 2020, due to the quarantine measures adopted in Ukraine to prevent the spread of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19, it was agreed that the passing score of Krok Exams would be adjusted to lower it.
The following minimum passing score has been approved (Decree №1572 “On the criteria for passing the Test-Based Licensing Integrated Exams in 2020”, issued by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on July 09, 2020 and registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on July 27, 2020 under №2553/5):
- Krok 2 – 50.5 % of correct answers from their total number;
- Krok 3 – 60.5 % of correct answers from their total number;
- Krok M and Krok B – 50.5 % of correct answers from their total number.
Therefore, the students and interns, who took (and will be taking) Krok 2, Krok 3, Krok М, and Krok B Exams in 2020, successfully pass their Krok Exams, if their result is equal or higher than the score approved in Decree №1572.
Please, keep in mind that the lowered passing score for the Licensing Integrated Exams was approved only for the year 2020.
Based on this Decree issued by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the schools can now issue the Higher Education Certificates to the reinstated students and interns, who were previously expelled for failing to pass their Krok Exams as a part of their final examination according to the criteria adopted in 2016.
